Brotherman is a character created by Mr. Dawud Anyabwile, Mr. Guy A. Sims and Mr. Brian McGee. (Checkout their work, and pick up their beautiful books here: brothermancomics.com/) Growing up and seeing these graphic novels which married elements of graffiti art and beautiful comic book style drama I was in love from the very first issue I saw. In 2016, I had the chance to collaborate with Mr. Anyabwile and Mr. Sims on this maquette. Developed as a piece of fan art, they were kind enough to give me feedback during the development of the piece which was created after hours. This was a really fun to design and sculpt.
